- Uploaded content: Profile photos and images

- Usage data: Profile views, card scans, engagement events
- Device information: IP address, browser type, user agent
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To process and fulfill your orders
- To display your public profile to visitors who scan your NFC card
- To provide analytics about your profile views and engagement
- To send notifications about connection requests and contact inquiries

- Public profile: Information you choose to make public on your profile is visible to anyone with your card link
- Service providers: We use third-party services for email delivery (Resend), file storage (Cloudflare R2), and hosting
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases and Cloudflare R2 storage. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure authentication (JWT tokens with bcrypt password hashing). While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure.
5. Your Privacy Controls
- Profile visibility: You can make your profile public or private
- Contact information: Choose whether to show your email and phone on your profile
- Notification preferences: Control which notifications you receive
- Data export: Download all your data in JSON format from Settings
- Account deletion: Request account deletion from your Settings page
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Analytics data (profile scans, engagement events) is retained for analytics purposes. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed, though some anonymized data may be retained for aggregate statistics.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service.
